Susan Hartingdon and Jenny Monaghan served very welcome hot coffee and tea in the headmasters bungalow, as it was extremely cold during the reunion. Susan nor Jenny were never at Linton, Susan is the wife of Peter Hartingdon, who was at Linton, and Jenny is a good friend who agreed to kindly help out on the day.
We really have to thanks the owners for agreeing to allow us access onto the school site, although due to insurance reasons, this is very likely to be the last such event held on the remaining premises.
A film was being made on the day, and many visitors were interviewed on camera. The film was being made by Peter Hartingdon, Antony Monaghan and David Myers, who collectively are MHM Video Productions. We are members of Mercury Movie Makers, a group of film making enthusiasts who meet at Rawdon Conservative Club on a Wednesday evening.
