Dow Cave near Kettlewell was a frequent pot for first timers and beginers to pot holing. I went down Dow
when I was at Linton with a group led by Don Robinson.
These images are most probably Dow Cave, and may well be of pupils at Linton, but just as likely is the
fact that they may be shots of attendees of the one of the Outward Bound or DOE activities.
While Dow Cave was considered a nursery pot, of interest is the obvious lack of safety equipment,
wellie-bobs and short trousers even!
