National Park Warden

We bumped into one of the National Park Wardens, and he kindly conveyed our heavy equipment on to the next night’s camp for us.
The lad in the shot here, I cannot remember his name, was not a Bradford boy, and I seem to remember, he was at the school in order to loose weight, when he first arrived he was a big lad, but the stay at Linton obviously had a successful effect on him. There was also a very large girl in my time, who was obviously at Linton to help reduce her weight.
We were very pleased with the rucksacks we had. At the time these rucksacks were state of the art carrying equipment, sadly the brand name escapes me, it’s an age thing! I might be correct in thinking they were called “Carrimor”. Or even Karrimor.
